Overview
TempoForge is an interval-workout timer. This policy explains how the app handles information. The app is offered by Naga Phani Sreevatsava Gopaluni (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Information stored on your device
TempoForge stores your workout presets and workout-session history locally on your device so the app can provide its core features.
Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync in TempoForge, the app synchronizes your workout presets and workout-session history across your compatible devices using Apple’s CloudKit service and your private iCloud database. Sync is optional and can be disabled in the app’s settings. TempoForge does not operate its own account server for this data.
Sign in with Apple
If you use Sign in with Apple, TempoForge stores your Apple-provided user identifier and any name or email address Apple makes available, including a Hide My Email relay address where applicable. This information is stored on your device to preserve the signed-in experience. Apple may provide your name and email only during your first authorization.
Optional ChatGPT assistance
TempoForge offers optional tools that open ChatGPT to help create or edit workout presets. TempoForge does not use an OpenAI API and does not send this content to a TempoForge-operated server.
When you choose “Create with ChatGPT,” TempoForge opens ChatGPT with a general preset-creation prompt. When you choose “Edit with ChatGPT,” you may select ChatGPT from the iOS Share Sheet; doing so shares the current preset text, which may include the preset name, notes, workout steps, durations, and rounds.
This sharing happens only when you choose to use the feature. Once information is shared with ChatGPT, OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy apply. Do not include sensitive personal, medical, or health information in prompts or preset notes.
What TempoForge does not collect, track, or access
Optional iCloud sync can transfer your user-created workout preset and workout-session content to your private CloudKit database, and user-initiated ChatGPT sharing can transfer that content to ChatGPT. TempoForge has no advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs, or OpenAI API integration, and it does not sell personal information. It does not access HealthKit, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos. If any of these practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect.
Deleting presets
When iCloud sync is enabled, permanently deleting a workout preset removes it from the app and is mirrored to your private iCloud database and compatible devices asynchronously. When iCloud sync is disabled, deletion applies to the device-local copy and may not remove a previously synced copy from iCloud.
Retention
TempoForge does not operate an independent server that retains your workout data. Presets, workout-session history, and Sign in with Apple display information remain on your device until removed through the app, app-data removal, or device settings. iCloud-synced data is retained in your private iCloud database subject to your Apple Account and iCloud settings. Removing the app from a device does not necessarily delete an existing iCloud-synced copy.
Children’s privacy
TempoForge is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@codekraft.org.
