Help topics
Creating a workout preset
Create a new preset from the presets area of TempoForge, give it a clear name, then add the workout steps, durations, and rounds you want to use. Review the finished sequence before starting a workout.
Importing a preset from JSON
Use TempoForge’s preset import option and select or paste a valid preset JSON file. If an import does not work, check that the JSON is complete and try again. Include the JSON file or its relevant text when contacting support if you are comfortable sharing it.
Using the optional ChatGPT-assisted preset flow
ChatGPT assistance is optional. Choose the create or edit option when you want help drafting a preset, then review and edit the suggested preset before using it. Avoid including sensitive personal, medical, or health information in prompts or preset notes.
Starting, pausing, skipping, and finishing a workout
Open the preset you want to run and start the timer. Use the workout controls to pause or resume, skip to the next step when needed, and finish the session when you are done. Check the active step and timer before continuing after a pause or skip.
Configuring the ready countdown and understanding timer beeps
Adjust the ready countdown in the app’s timer settings before beginning a session. Timer beeps help signal the countdown and step transitions. If you do not hear them, confirm that your device is not muted and that its volume is turned up.
Viewing session history and stats
Open the session history area to review completed workouts and their recorded statistics. Session history is stored on your device and can be synchronized through optional iCloud sync.
Syncing presets with iCloud
Enable iCloud sync in TempoForge’s settings to synchronize presets and workout-session history across compatible devices using your private iCloud database. Changes can take a short time to appear on another device.
Troubleshooting missing or unexpected presets
First, confirm that you are using the same Apple Account and that iCloud sync is enabled on each device where you expect presets to appear. Allow time for syncing, then reopen TempoForge. If a preset was deleted while sync was enabled, that deletion may be mirrored to other compatible devices.
Reporting a bug or sharing feedback
Email support with a short description of what happened, what you expected instead, and the steps that led to it. Feedback about features, presets, timers, and syncing is welcome.
